• Operating Partner pathway (commercial / growth track) You will answer the buyer's biggest question: will this business grow? You size the market, test the target's competitive position, and pressure-test the revenue forecast.

What you'll do

Size addressable markets and growth rates by segment, region, and channel. Analyze market share, competitive positioning, and barriers to entry. Interview customers, distributors, and industry experts to test loyalty and switching risk. Analyze customer concentration, churn, pricing power, and backlog quality. Review future growth projections and build independent downside, base, and upside cases.

Identify commercial levers: pricing, cross-sell, new channels, and add-on acquisitions. After close, lead the commercial growth plan with sales management and pricing discipline. What you bring 7+ years in strategy consulting, commercial diligence, corporate development, or B2B sales leadership. Strong market research, survey design, and expert-interview skills.

Advanced Excel and market-modeling skills; CRM and pricing analytics a plus. Sector depth in industrial, consumer, energy, or services markets VDS serves. MBA preferred. Operating Partner path: commercial or growth lead, executing pricing, sales, and add-on strategy.
