Job Summary
The Retail Pharmacist is responsible for management of the RVH (Riverview Hospital) Outpatient Pharmacy in the absence of the manager. Responsible for RVH Retail Pharmacy daily operation management, following policies and procedures that assure compliance with Indiana State Board of Pharmacy Law, PBM relations (involves educating and providing excellent service to all members of the RVH PBM plan).
Job Responsibilities
The Pharmacist position is a staff role requiring the skill and responsibility to supervise and lead the pharmacy technicians for retail operations. Supervise the daily activities of pharmacy technicians and guides activities. Interprets physicians’ orders and compounds and dispenses medications.
