Procurement & Production Planning Manager | Hyderabad

Job Title: Manager – Procurement & Production Planning Role Overview: Manage end-to-end procurement, production planning, and manufacturing operations in a high-volume setup (~1.8L orders/month) with a hybrid model (in-house + third-party). Focus on cost optimization, inventory control, wastage, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Plan procurement of RM & FG based on ~6K daily orders Maintain optimal inventory; avoid stockouts & overstocking Drive production planning, capacity utilization, and scheduling Manage job orders, WIP, and output tracking Coordinate with factory teams and balance in-house vs third-party production Handle vendor onboarding, negotiation, and performance tracking Manage BOM updates, formulation changes, and cost impact Control wastage & expiry (FIFO/FEFO, batch tracking) Oversee PO lifecycle and procurement operations Drive cost savings and process efficiency Ensure compliance, documentation, and audit readiness Track KPIs and provide actionable insight Requirements Experience in procurement / production planning / supply chain Exposure to high-volume manufacturing environments Strong skills in inventory, vendor management, and cost control
