ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN DuPont Rotating Shift | 12-Hour Days & Nights | 24/7 Manufacturing Maintenance | ROTATING SHIFT WORK: 7:00 AM-7:00 PM AND 7:00 PM-7:00 AM IMPORTANT SCHEDULE REQUIREMENT THIS IS A ROTATING DuPONT SHIFT POSITION. Employees work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts as part of Fuji's 24/7 operation.

The rotation includes 7:00 AM-7:00 PM day shifts and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM night shifts, including scheduled weekends and holidays when they fall within the assigned rotation. Candidates must be able and willing to work both days and nights. The DuPont rotation also provides scheduled blocks of consecutive days off. BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH FUJI VEGETABLE OIL Fuji is looking for experienced industrial Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians who enjoy diagnosing complex equipment conditions, solving problems, and improving reliability.

This is skilled industrial maintenance work in a highly automated, food-grade process environment-not residential or commercial electrical work and not a position focused only on component replacement. THE OPPORTUNITY You will help maintain the electrical, instrumentation, controls, and automation systems that support continuous refinery and processing operations.

The role partners with Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and EHS to safely restore equipment, identify root causes, document work, and reduce repeat equipment issues.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Troubleshoot electrical distribution, 480V systems, motors, motor controls, MCCs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Diagnose PLC-controlled equipment, control circuits, automation issues, and industrial network-related conditions within the role's scope. Support DCS operations and troubleshoot control loops and associated field devices.

Maintain, test, troubleshoot, and calibrate flow, pressure, temperature, level, and analytical instrumentation. Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to support a reliable 24/7 operation. Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs, schematics, manuals, and other technical documentation. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous-improvement/reliability work.

Perform or support equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades. Use SAP to accurately document maintenance activity and relevant equipment history. Follow NFPA 70E, LOTO, GMP/food-safety requirements, and all Fuji safety procedures. Communicate equipment status, operating concerns, and follow-up needs during shift handoffs and with cross-functional partners.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Technical degree, apprenticeship, military technical training, or equivalent qualifying industrial experience. 5+ years of industrial electrical and/or instrumentation maintenance experience. Hands-on PLC troubleshooting experience. Demonstrated electrical and instrumentation troubleshooting capability. Experience with motors, drives, controls, instrumentation, pneumatics, and industrial process equipment.

Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings. Strong mechanical aptitude and a systematic root-cause troubleshooting approach. Commitment to safe work practices and reliable maintenance documentation. Ability and willingness to work Fuji's rotating DuPont schedule, including BOTH 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM shifts, scheduled weekends, and holidays that fall within the rotation.

Preferred: Experience in food manufacturing, edible-oil refining, chemical processing, paper mills, utilities, power generation, heavy industrial manufacturing, or another continuous-process environment. DCS, SAP maintenance, industrial networks, calibration, equipment upgrade, and reliability/root-cause-analysis experience.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Works safely and consistently follows electrical-safety, LOTO, and site procedures on both day and night shifts. Diagnoses equipment conditions methodically and addresses root cause whenever practical. Responds effectively to maintenance needs in a 24/7 operating environment and communicates clearly during handoffs.

Documents maintenance activity accurately in SAP and escalates significant equipment conditions promptly. Builds productive partnerships across Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and EHS. Continues developing technical depth in electrical systems, instrumentation, controls, automation, and reliability. WHY JOIN FUJI?
