Job description
We are currently looking for a Buyer I to be based out of Houston, TX. Reporting to the Production Control Manager, this person will be responsible for driving the advancement of supply chain processes and the daily activities of our material replenishment systems to meet customer demands. This role will lead the tactical efforts towards the achievement of the Strategic Plan objectives, with a strong emphasis on cost reduction.
The Buyer I is the plant’s subject matter expert who will facilitate supplier and product qualifications. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
