Business Development & Strategic Sales Identify, develop, and acquire new business opportunities from OEMs, Wholesalers, Railway EPC Contractors, and industrial customers. Develop business strategies to expand the customer base and achieve revenue growth targets. Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and strategic clients.
Conduct market research to identify emerging business opportunities and industry trends. Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, networking events, and industry meetings to generate quality business leads. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management Meet prospective and existing clients to understand their requirements and propose suitable product solutions.
Prepare and present commercial proposals and quotations in coordination with internal teams. Negotiate commercial terms and ensure successful conversion of quotations into confirmed orders. Handle key customer accounts and resolve commercial or operational concerns efficiently. Maintain excellent customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer retention.
Order Execution & Cross-functional Coordination Coordinate with Marketing, Production, Planning, Dispatch, Stores, and Quality departments for smooth order execution. Ensure timely processing of Purchase Orders and monitor production schedules. Coordinate customer inspections at the factory before dispatch whenever required.
Ensure timely delivery of dispatch documents and shipment details to customers. Support customers in resolving product quality concerns and rejection-related issues. Commercial & Payment Management Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from customers. Coordinate billing, dispatch documentation, and other commercial formalities.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, customer records, and business reports. Team Support & Leadership Guide and mentor Business Development Executives in achieving sales targets. Assist senior management in implementing sales strategies and market expansion plans. Foster a collaborative, performance-oriented sales culture within the team.
Requirements
Minimum 5–6 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, or Manufacturing Sales. Proven experience in handling OEMs, Industrial Clients, EPC Contractors, Dealers, or Wholesalers. Strong knowledge of quotation management, tender-based sales, commercial negotiations, and order execution. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship management skills. Willingness to travel for client meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
