Cleaning Operative – Newark, NG24

Location: Newark, NG24 2FD Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (PAYE) Hours: 10 hours per week Contract: Temporary Holiday Cover Cover Dates: 24th August 2026 – 29th August 2026 Working Hours Monday – 2 hrs (17:00–19:00) Tuesday – 2 hrs (17:00–19:00) Wednesday – 2 hrs (17:00–19:00) Thursday – 2 hrs (17:00–19:00) Friday – 2 hrs (17:00–19:00) Saturday – No work Sunday – No work Total Hours Per Week: 10 hours Duties General office cleaning Vacuuming, mopping and dusting Cleaning kitchens and washroom facilities Emptying bins and replenishing consumables Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the site Following all health & safety procedures Candidate Requirements Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred Right to Work documentation must be presented at induction Comfortable working alone Able to work as a key holder and operate an alarm panel where required Must use the site's telephone time and attendance system Reliable, punctual and able to work independently Please Note: This role does not require a DBS check.
