002-111 Material Handler The Mart $15 SEA (GA, Atlanta)

Purpose:

To move materials as instructed by manager to meet the needs of the contract

Duties:

• Receiving and unloading shipments: Checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders, verifying quantities and quality, and identifying damaged goods.

• Loading and unloading trucks: Operating pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment to efficiently load and unload trucks.

• Labeling and tagging: Properly labeling materials and products to ensure accurate identification and tracking.

• Quality control: Inspecting materials for defects and reporting any issues.

• Maintaining safety standards: Following all safety procedures when handling materials and operating machinery.

• Physical labor: Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy items as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age

• Must pass drug test

• Must pass background check

• Must be able to stand,m walk, push, pull, squat and lift 40 pounds during the entire shift

• Must be willing to wear all required PPE

• Must adhere to all safety protocols
