Job Description The Logistics/Warehouse Specialist is part of the product development team and is responsible for design center logistics and warehouse management. In this position you will be responsible for supply chain management, shipping/receiving, carrier selection and coordination, inventory management, inventory organization and storage, and prototype inventory readiness support.
The role will include: Coordinating inbound and outbound shipping logistics for domestic and international shipments, including packaging procurement and disposal. Organize warehouse, part labeling, part kitting, and shipment processing. Coordinating with buyers and engineering development team to track part arrival. Supervise inventory audit and organization for efficient product assembly and test.
Manage product shutdown for inventory disposal or restocking. Maintains warehouse condition by planning and implementing new design layouts. Safely lift, carry, and maneuver heavy material using forklift, dollies, and straps. Ability to lift over 50lbs regularly, stand, bend, and kneel.
Basic Qualifications
High school diploma required. 5+ years experience in logistics and warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping and receiving. Must be located within 50 miles of Fredericksburg Virginia to be considered, no relocation offered. Active duty military are exempt from these requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
Forklift certification preferred. Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
