THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing Finance team. In this role, you will support the month-end close process, maintain accurate financial records, prepare account reconciliations, and assist with financial reporting activities. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate across departments, contribute to process improvements, and play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

You will prepare and post journal entries to support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities. You will perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. You will assist with financial statement preparation and reporting requirements while supporting internal and external audit requests. You will analyze financial data, identify opportunities for process improvement, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions. You will also help maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

SKILLS THAT DRIVE SUCCESS

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field along with two to five years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment. A strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required. Candidates should have experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

WHAT SETS YOU APART

A CPA certification, or progress toward obtaining one, is highly valued. Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP, SAP, or other enterprise accounting systems is preferred. Candidates who have supported audits, financial compliance initiatives, process improvement projects, or accounting automation efforts will stand out. Advanced Excel capabilities, including experience with PivotTables, Power Query, or similar tools, are also desirable.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFIT INFORMATION

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
