Job description

Posting Title: Gynecologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹1.30LPM to 1.60LPM Work Experience: 0-1 year Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive gynecological examinations and patient assessments in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Perform routine gynecological procedures, including minor surgical interventions as required.

Carry out Dilatation and Curettage (D&C) procedures with precision and strict adherence to clinical protocols. Interpret and analyze ultrasound (USG) reports to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Maintain accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.

Provide patient education on reproductive health, contraception, menstrual disorders, and preventive care strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including obstetricians, nurses, and radiologists, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. Participate in hospital rounds, case discussions, and on-call duties as part of the rotating schedule.

Stay current with evolving clinical guidelines, advancements in gynecological care, and institutional policies.

Requirements

MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (DGO/MD/DM) or equivalent. Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council. Proven proficiency in performing routine gynecological operations and D&C procedures. Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply USG findings in clinical decision-making.

Strong clinical judgment and effective communication skills with patients and colleagues. Ability to thrive in a team-based, fast-paced hospital environment under pressure. Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic medical records (EMR). Willingness to engage in onboarding training and ongoing professional development initiatives.
