Site Manager - Social Housing Planned Works (Kitchens & Bathrooms)

Manchester and surrounding areas Due to continued growth and an expanding project portfolio, Connolly Ltd is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Social Housing team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of refurbishment projects across occupied homes, delivering improvements that have a direct impact on residents and communities.
Typical works include kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes, internal refurbishments, and planned improvement works. Whether your background is in social housing, refurbishment, planned works, or wider construction projects, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Manage social housing refurbishment projects from start to completion Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver works safely, on time and to budget Coordinate day-to-day site activities, resources and materials Monitor quality, carry out inspections and ensure defects are resolved Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, including site inductions, RAMS and toolbox talks Track project progress and provide updates to clients and internal teams Work closely with residents and stakeholders to maintain a positive customer experience Maintain accurate site records and proactively resolve site issues What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, refurbishment or planned works Experience delivering projects within social housing and occupied properties Strong leadership skills with experience managing direct labour and subcontractors Confident overseeing programme delivery, quality, health & safety, and site performance Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Organised, proactive and able to resolve issues effectively SMSTS , First Aid at Work , and a Full UK Driving Licence essential CSCS Card and Asbestos Awareness desirable Why Join Connolly?
