Community Liaison Coordinator (Major Infrastructure Project) - QLD

Our client is seeking an experienced Community Liaison Coordinator to support the successful delivery of a major infrastructure project in Queensland. This role will play a key part in managing communications, stakeholder engagement and community relations activities throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project teams, local communities and key stakeholders, you will help ensure effective communication of project activities while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external communication materials and project updates
• Develop engaging content for newsletters, digital platforms and stakeholder communications
• Coordinate community engagement activities, events and information sessions
• Manage stakeholder and community enquiries
• Support project communication and engagement strategies
• Work closely with project teams to communicate upcoming works and project impacts
• Assist with stakeholder reporting and engagement activities
• Maintain positive relationships with community members and project stakeholders Requirements The ideal candidate will have experience in communications, stakeholder engagement or community relations, preferably within infrastructure, construction, transport or engineering environments. Strong content development skills, event coordination experience and proficiency with design software such as In. Design will be highly regarded.
