We are seeking an experienced Manager, Infrastructure & Digital Workplace to lead the strategy, operations, modernization, and support of enterprise and plant infrastructure across a geographically distributed industrial environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, performance, and scalability of infrastructure services supporting business operations and manufacturing locations.

The Manager, Infrastructure & Digital Workplace will oversee a team of infrastructure professionals and partners responsible for network operations, server and storage platforms, cloud technologies, Microsoft 365 services, and plant infrastructure. This individual will play a key role in driving infrastructure modernization initiatives, standardizing services across locations, managing strategic technology vendors, and supporting the organization's continued cloud transformation journey.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical infrastructure expertise with proven leadership capabilities and experience supporting complex industrial or manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Operations & Service Delivery Lead the day-to-day operation, support, and continuous improvement of enterprise and plant infrastructure environments. Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of infrastructure services including networking, virtualization, storage, cloud platforms, and collaboration technologies.

Establish and monitor operational metrics, service levels, and infrastructure performance indicators. Partner with technical teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues and drive root cause analysis efforts. Infrastructure Strategy & Modernization Develop and execute infrastructure roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives .

Lead infrastructure modernization initiatives across networking, cloud, collaboration, and core infrastructure platforms. Support the organization's ongoing cloud transformation strategy, including migration and optimization initiatives. Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve operational effectiveness, scalability, and resilience.

Leadership & Team Development Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development for infrastructure team members and contractors. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. Assist with workforce planning, organizational growth, and future team development.

Establish clear goals, priorities, and performance expectations for team members. Vendor & Partner Management Manage relationships with strategic technology vendors and service providers. Oversee vendor performance, contract alignment, support escalations, and service delivery expectations. Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure technology investments support business needs and operational objectives .

IT/OT Collaboration Partner closely with operational technology, manufacturing, and business teams to support infrastructure services across industrial locations. Collaborate with teams supporting plant technologies and operational systems to ensure reliable infrastructure services and connectivity. Support infrastructure standards and best practices across geographically distributed facilities.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology , Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 8+ years of progressive IT infrastructure experience. Experience leading technical teams, personnel, contractors, or major infrastructure initiatives. Strong experience supporting enterprise infrastructure environments including networking, virtualization, storage, cloud platforms, and collaboration technologies.

Experience managing infrastructure services across multiple locations or geographically distributed environments. Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, service delivery, and operational support models. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Technical Experience Experience supporting and managing enterprise networking environments including LAN, WAN, and related infrastructure technologies.

Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware. Experience with enterprise storage technologies, including SAN environments. Experience with cloud platforms, including Microsoft Azure and/or AWS. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 services and modern workplace technologies. Experience with endpoint management technologies such as Microsoft Intune.

Familiarity with infrastructure security best practices and collaboration with cybersecurity teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting manufacturing, chemical, refining, energy, utilities, or other industrial environments strongly preferred. Familiarity with IT/OT environments and supporting infrastructure services within industrial operations. Experience with enterprise networking technologies including Palo Alto and Cisco environments.

Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives. Experience managing vendor relationships and strategic technology partnerships.
