Licensed Practical Nurse- Clinic

The clinic LPN assists the Nurse Practitioner and/or Physician with assessments and treatments of patients visiting the clinic. Is able to perform telephone triage under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician by asking appropriate medical questions and gathering pertinent health information. Assists in performing exams and procedures, completing history and symptoms assessment, as required under the direction of the Nurse Practitioner or Physician.

This may include vital signs, allergies, height and weight and medication history. Assists in providing patient education regarding medications, diet, disease process, disease management, etc.
