Owner's Representative Safety Manager (Night Shift)

📍 Location: Ridgeville, SC 📅 Duration: 6 Months (Immediate Need) 📋 Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

💰 Pay Rate: $80/hr 🏨 Per Diem: $150/Day (7 Days Per Week) 🎯 Completion Bonus: $150/month 💵 Pay Frequency: Weekly ⏰ Schedule: Monday-Friday | Night Shift | 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM | 40 Hours Per Week 📈 Additional Schedule Details: Owner-side assignment supporting mission-critical construction activities during night operations.

The Owner's Representative Safety Manager will provide independent safety oversight of general contractors, subcontractors, and multiple trades during night shift operations while ensuring construction activities align with owner expectations, project safety standards, and risk management objectives.

Required Qualifications

✔ BCSP Credential Required (CHST or CSP)

✔ Minimum 5-10 Years of Construction Safety Experience ✔ Data Center or Mission-Critical Construction Experience Required ✔ Previous Owner's Representative / Owner-Side Safety Oversight Experience on a Data Center Project Required ✔ Experience Providing Safety Oversight Across General Contractors, Subcontractors, and Multiple Trades ✔ Strong Knowledge of OSHA Construction Standards ✔ Experience Conducting Audits, Risk Assessments, and Contractor Performance Evaluations

Preferred Qualifications

⭐ Structural Steel Construction Experience ⭐ Critical Lift Oversight Experience ⭐ Rigging and Crane Operations Experience ⭐ Large Hyperscale Data Center Experience ⭐ Experience Working Directly for Owners, Developers, or Mission-Critical End Users

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide independent owner-side safety oversight during all night shift operations

  • Monitor safety performance of general contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners

  • Conduct safety audits, inspections, observations, and risk assessments

  • Review contractor safety programs, AHAs, JHAs, lift plans, and corrective action plans

  • Monitor steel erection activities, pipe installation operations, and critical lifts

  • Identify systemic risks and emerging project safety concerns

  • Work directly with owner representatives, contractor leadership, and project stakeholders

  • Provide recommendations to improve project-wide safety performance

  • Monitor compliance with project safety standards and owner expectations

  • Participate in incident investigations and corrective action reviews

  • Track safety metrics, trends, and contractor accountability measures

  • Maintain required reports, observations, and owner safety documentation
