Administrative Assistant

H 2 O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H 2 O is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. This position performs a variety of skilled secretarial tasks, related work as required, and other duties as assigned by management.

Key Responsibilities

Composes routine replies to correspondence without dictation in accordance with established procedures. Serves as receptionist, answers telephone and gives general information in response to public and official inquiries. Reviews and maintains records, files, and reports specific to area of assignments. Sorts, indexes, and cross-references materials according to established procedures.

Prepares and reviews departmental reports for accuracy and to ensure the presence of supporting data. Operates a variety of general office equipment. Schedules and coordinates various departmental activities. The Skills We Are Looking For Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment. Maintain clerical records and prepare correspondence and reports from such material.

Read, interpret and analyze information as required. Make relatively complex call data entries rapidly and accurately. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Some experience in secretarial work. The successful candidate will have to pass a background check which includes criminal background & motor vehicle report checks, as well as drug & alcohol screenings.
