Job description

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a full-time position available for an Engineer in Training to join our collaborative and innovative water resources team as a Stormwater Engineer.

Responsibilities include

Assisting with the design of stormwater management facilities and other water resources (drinking water and/or sewer systems) projects Collaborating with project managers and senior engineers Research, planning, and calculations Supporting preparation of reports, technical memoranda, cost estimates, specifications, design plans, studies, and permits Some travel will be required The successful candidate must have: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET accredited college or university At least one year of relevant stormwater engineering experience The ideal candidate will have experience with any/all of the following: EIT Certification Design of stormwater management systems Design of drinking water and/or sewer systems Preparation of plans, specifications and cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects (emphasis on water resources projects) Knowledge of software programs associated with hydraulic and/or hydrologic modeling (such as HydroCAD, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and WWHM) Microsoft Office, AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS software If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.
