Legal E-Billing Specialist

Nashville, Tennessee Job Description The Legal E-Billing Specialist will assist the e. Billing Administrator with the implementation and mapping of new and existing clients in Aderant/e. Billing Hub, as well as provide support addressing day-to-day e. Billing issues and help facilitate approvals and payments and assist the collections team with their follow up on outstanding e.

Bills and navigation of e. Billing vendor websites.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include

assisting the e. Billing Administrator with the implementation and mapping of new and existing clients in Aderant/e. Billing hub. Provide support by minimizing rejections through analyzing invoices. Research rejected invoices and follow-up appropriately. Responsible for diversity submissions and timekeeper rate updates/maintenance.

Utilize various e. Billing platforms. Address day-to-day e. Billing issues and facilitate approvals and payments. Monitor accruals, budgets and e. Billing submissions to meet deadlines. Assist collection team with follow up on outstanding e. Bills and navigate through e. Billing vendor websites. Ensure the Firm’s policies are consistently, and properly applied and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE BA/BS degree in Business Administration or related experience, preferably in a large legal services or professional services organization. Knowledge of effective legal billing procedures and of computerized legal billing systems and electronic online billing applications (Aderant Expert) is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS

AND ABILITIES Strong computer skills and be proficient with Microsoft Office. Strong typing/keyboard skills and able to use a 10-key calculator by touch. Ability to self-direct, prioritize tasks and work with minimum supervision and with individuals at all levels of the organization. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and the willingness to work as part of a team are highly desired.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to sit and stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act. The expected salary range for this position is $60k - $65k. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skill set, and geographic location.
