We’re looking for a detail-driven and organised Streetworks Coordinator to join our team.

This is a key support role within our operations, ensuring permits, scheduling, and compliance processes run smoothly so our field teams can deliver work safely, efficiently, and on time. As a central point of coordination, you’ll manage permit systems, track key data, support scheduling, and keep multiple stakeholders informed—playing a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency, reducing delays, and supporting excellent service delivery.

What you’ll do Process and manage streetworks permits, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations Monitor permit SLAs and statuses, proactively flagging risks or delays to stakeholders Handle permit amendments, cancellations, PMRs, and refusals, resolving clashes with operational teams Maintain accurate system records, including permit IDs, prefixes, and project links Produce and distribute daily reports including granted permits, start/stop updates, and key reminders Coordinate with planners, field teams, and local authorities to chase outstanding permits and ensure timelines are met Support planning and scheduling activities, including weekly reviews of upcoming works Maintain mailbox archives and system records for audit and compliance purposes Track registrations and ensure required confirmations are completed on time Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to support operational decision-making Communicate updates clearly to internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues where required Build effective working relationships with clients, local authorities, and internal teams Requirements About you Experience in an administration, coordination, or scheduling role, ideally in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging stakeholders Proactive and organised, with the ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately Comfortable working with systems and structured processes Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reporting tools Experience using systems such as Aurora, Depotnet, or similar (desirable) Understanding of streetworks, permits, or telecoms operations (desirable)
