Maintenance Technician - Central Fleet

The Department of Public Works seeks a qualified candidate for the position of Maintenance Technician. Under the direction of the Central Fleet Manager, the successful applicant should have the ability to perform a wide range of skilled work. Responsible for the maintenance of work vehicles and heavy equipment. Operates a variety of light and heavy motor equipment, including but not limited to: dump trucks, sanders, snow plows, bulldozer, compactor, front-end loader, and backhoe.

Services and maintains trucks and equipment. Operates and maintains a variety of power and hand tools including but not limited to a jackhammer, chipper, and chainsaw.
