Accountant

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Accountant to join their team and oversee a broad range of financial operations, including month-end closing, management reporting, credit control, payroll and statutory compliance .

Key Responsibilities

Run the month-end close: accounting entries, reconciliations, monthly management accounts and cash flow reporting Bank reconciliations and preparation of payments for approval Issue sales invoices and check supplier, agent and carrier invoices Credit control: agree credit terms with customers, monitor balances against those terms, and follow up on overdue invoices VAT and Social Insurance returns, monthly payroll, budgets and audit support Deputise for the Accounting Manager, and take over the department in due course Requirements: Degree in Accounting or Finance ACCA / CIMA / CPA, qualified or well advanced towards qualification At least 3 years' relevant experience Sound knowledge of Cyprus VAT, payroll and social insurance obligations Fluent Greek and English Confident with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly pick-up in-house systems Benefits: Work-Life Balance: Fixed hours 08:00 – 16:30 (Monday to Friday) with a 30-minute lunch break.
