Staff pharmacists supervise and direct support personnel.
In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager.
Education
- Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited school of Pharmacy
- Preferred: Doctorate of Pharmacy
- Completion of ASHP accredited PGY1 residency Experience:
- Required: No Prior Experience Required
- Preferred: 2 years healthcare setting or equivalent residency training Skills:
- N/A Licensure/Certification/Registration:
- Required: Registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or registry eligible and obtain within 90 days of hire
- Eligibility for licensure requires submission of application for Pharmacy License at time of hire
- Medication Therapy Services Certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire
