Access Associate (Full-time, Variable)

Job Title: Access Associate Department: Emergency Services Location: Urgent Care

• Wilson Multicultural Medical Campus - 800 Carter Street Rochester, NY 14621 Hours per week: 40, Full-time Schedule: Days/Evenings, 12hr shifts, M-F 830am-9pm, weekend rotation required Summary In a customer service-oriented manner, interviews patients and/or their representative to collect required registration data, to include but is not limited to; demographic and financial data as well as obtain required signatures, communicates mandated patient information and verifies all information for accuracy. Process includes but is not limited to insurance verification, obtaining precertification/authorization, co-payment collection and communicating with patient and/or their representative with regards to their financial assistance needs. ​ Responsibilities Customer Service. Manage incoming calls while providing necessary information; greeting patients providing direction as needed and scheduling patient appointments Registration & Verification. Complete the registration process for patients as defined by departmental policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary precertification/authorization when applicable Billing & Payments. PAY RANGE

$17.85 - $20.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14621 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
