We are looking for an Accounting Clerk for our Silvertip Resort at Canmore, Alberta. A successful candidate is required to work as per the company values: Caring, integrity, excellence, team spirit and financial responsibility.

Responsibilities:**

• Manage end-to-end payroll for multiple pay groups or entities

• Participate in month-end and year-end close

• Enter data, maintain records, and create financial reports

• Manage accounts payable, including vendor management, expense coding, and timely payments

• Manage accounts receivable, including customer setup, invoicing, collections, and bank deposits

• Follow up on customer payments and accounts

• Balance and reconcile cash on hand and G/L accounts

• Compile and prepare routine reports and summaries, including property-level reports

• Implement and administer accounting procedures

Administer staff benefits enrollment

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• 1-3 years of relevant, hands-on accounting or bookkeeping experience

Proficiency in computers, bookkeeping software, and MS Excel
