$58,167 - $60,518 Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Regular Grade: E03 Department: Contract / Grant Administration Position Summary This is a twelve-month renewable position contingent upon grant funding Full-time positions at Clovis Community College are not remote positions and require a physical presence on campus to fulfill duties and college-related responsibilities.

Under general direction of the Dean of Student Services, the Project Director will administer the TRIO Student Support Services grant by coordinating human, material and financial resources and expertise to implement and maintain program requirements. The Project Director will cultivate a student-centered approach to learning, meeting educational goals, and meeting program objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities Develop and implement all activities and services to ensure the requirements of the TRIO SSS Program are met. Manage the TRIO SSS budget and administer TRIO SSS funds in accordance with established guidelines, college policies, state laws and U.S. Department of Education regulations. Participate in evaluation of the program.

Supervise all activities necessary to ensure that accurate and complete data is maintained in TRIO SSS student databases. Produce monthly, semester and annual compliance and performance reports in compliance with all federal and program requirements. Evaluate the performance of participants and the project, detailing grant expenditures and accomplishments.

Oversee staff in the recruitment, retention and mentoring of TRIO SSS Participants. Serve as project liaison to the college, the participants and the community. Select, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all TRIO SSS Personnel. Coordinate with college service providers to identify and access support services (tutoring, mentoring, advising, activities, etc.)

and resources not funded through the project in an effort to meet identified participant needs, achieve TRIO SSS objectives, and support student success. Attend TRIO in-service and professional development conferences and workshops. Distribute TRIO SSS information to TRIO SSS staff. ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires frequent and continuous sitting/moving about, continuous use of fine motor skills, and pushing and pulling of up to 20 lbs. SCHEDULE DETAILS: Must be available to work 40 hrs. per week with normal work hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to: Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in education, administration, counseling, or related field Minimum two years’ experience in program/project management in education or social services Knowledge and/or experience managing federally funded projects PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in designing, implementing, managing, and supervising programs for disadvantaged youth Experience in assessment, academic advising, and/or career guidance Familiarity, including personal experience, with challenges facing low-income, at-risk, and first-generation students REQUIRED APPLICATAION MATERIALS: All applicants must submit the following application materials in support of their application of employment: An updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) or resume.
