Job description

The examinee shall demonstrate stability and capacity for the following:

Mental alertness and emotional stability
Acuity of senses; ability of expression to allow rapid, accurate communication by spoken, written, audible, visible, or tactile signals.
The use of corrective eyeglasses or contact lenses shall not interfere with an individual?s ability to effectively perform assigned security duties during normal or emergency operations.
No use of medications that while the individual is working, that would incapacitate, alter mental status, judgment or decrease physical or mental response times (e.g., anxiety relief via sedatives, narcotic pain medications, etc.).
Individuals with medical conditions which may impact the ability to perform the essential functions of the job shall provide medical evidence that the condition is controlled with proper medication and/or treatment and/or reasonable accommodations. The site physician may require the candidate to obtain a letter of clearance from his/her personal physician attesting that the candidate can perform the essential elements of the job.
