PRN Speech Therapist

Indiana Fitness Works, Inc., is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a position in a long term care setting in the Terre Haute, Indiana area at Westridge Health Care Center. The SLP will be responsible for evaluation and treatment of communication disorders, swallowing disorders, and cognitive deficits, as prescribed by the physician. Competitive pay!

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations, assess home environment (as appropriate), and identify equipment needs relative to speech/language function. Identify functional speech defects and establishes a plan of care to improve patient's function. Implementation and revision of plans of care as necessary. Provide education/instruction to patient, family members/caregivers, and interdisciplinary team on recommendations for patient’s care.

Prepare and submit notes per agency policy. Perform other duties as required to facilitate delivery of speech language pathology services. PRN or Part time Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19, or have medical or religious exemption.
