TO AWARE Elementary Counselor/Family Outreach

Under the supervision of the Education Director, serve as a strong critical link between students, parents and teachers to provide small-group counseling services and collaborative support to promote student success, social-emotional growth, and positive behavioral outcomes. Collaborate with staff in the planning of cultural interventions, educational interventions, curriculum, and behavioral management plans.

Utilizing knowledge of Native American intergenerational trauma will provide cultural insight and information about how students succeed and promote an environment of healing and empowerment for the students and their families. All education staff must adhere to mandated reporting laws. This is a grant funded position.
