Job description
The Nuclear Med Tech performs nuclear medicine procedures, schedule procedures, and be able to initiate new procedures. The Nuclear Medicine Tech must demonstrate thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. This position must be able to communicate to patients the nature of the exam and relieve their anxiety.
The Nuclear Med Tech must demonstrate an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques.
