Job Summary

Job Summary Evaluates patient and obtains pertinent information for the diagnosis and treatment of the medical problem. Orders further testing and refers to other medical providers as necessary for the appropriate medical management of the patient. Documents appropriately in the EMR and completes all necessary forms and correspondence for proper patient care in a timely manner.

Fosters the development of staff to fulfill the current and future requirements of individuals and the organization. Actively supports and promotes the shared mission of Norman Regional Health System to achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications

Must have formal NRHS Medical Staff privileges for specialty/area worked; includes age-specific competency.

Education

Allopathic (MD) or Osteopathic (DO) Physician; prefer board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine Experience Post residency experience preferred but not required Licensure/Certification/Registration/ETC. Current Oklahoma Medical License and DEA/OBNDD; other required licenses/board certifications pertinent to specialty/area worked.
