YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and improving the quality performance of assigned suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations. This role serves as a key liaison between suppliers and internal cross-functional teams, driving supplier quality excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
WHAT YOU’LL BUILD & OWN Manage supplier quality assurance activities and oversee the quality performance of assigned suppliers to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements. Drive supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective action management.
Collaborate closely with R&D, Production, Purchasing, and other cross-functional teams to support new product development (NPD), product transfers, and ongoing production quality activities. Conduct periodic supplier audits, process assessments, and quality evaluations to ensure manufacturing processes and quality systems meet required standards.
Provide technical guidance and quality support to suppliers, ensuring effective quality control during new product introduction and mass production stages. Perform initial sample inspections, evaluate qualification samples, and verify supplier readiness prior to production release. Investigate supplier-related quality issues, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, and coordinate resolution efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
WHAT YOU BRING Hands-on supplier quality engineering experience including supplier audit, new supplier onboard, and new product development Strong understanding of manufacturing processes Proven background working in a cross functional and/or global MNC environment Self-motivated, result driven or goal oriented with customer focus and sense of urgency Self-starter with high levels of autonomy, resilience, and adaptability.
Willingness to travel across Southeast Asia region and work flexibly as needed WHAT SETS YOU APART Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field Fluency in English and Chinese language skills (verbal and written communications) to liaise with our internal and external stakeholders.
