Job description

Posting Title: Anaesthesia Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹300000 to 300000 LPM Work Experience: 2-3 Years Required Skills: Emergency, ICU --- Responsibilities:

  • Administer general, regional, and local anesthesia tailored to patient needs and surgical requirements.
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, including medical history review, physical assessment, and risk stratification.
  • Monitor vital signs and physiological parameters continuously during anesthesia and surgical procedures.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to intraoperative emergencies, including cardiac arrest, anaphylaxis, and severe hypotension.
  • Manage airway and ventilation in critical care settings, including intubation and mechanical ventilation.
  • Provide pain management solutions in the ICU and postoperative recovery areas.
  • Collaborate with surgical, critical care, and nursing teams to ensure seamless patient care transitions.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in emergency response drills and trauma team activations as required.
  • Stay updated with advancements in anesthesiology, evidence-based practices, and safety protocols. --- Requirements:
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Anaesthesiology (MD/DNB in Anaesthesia).
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in hospital-based anesthesia, with exposure to emergency and ICU settings.
  • Proven experience in managing complex cases, including trauma, cardiothoracic, and high-risk obstetric anesthesia.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced airway management, invasive monitoring, and critical care support.
  • Excellent decision-making skills under pressure, with the ability to remain calm during emergencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
  • Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and continuous professional development.
  • Familiarity with hospital information systems and electronic medical records. ---
