We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Accounting Officer to join our team in Taguig, Philippines. As an Accounting Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions Support internal and external audit processes Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accounting or a related field CPA certification preferred Proficiency in accounting software (e.
g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis techniques Experience with general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies Excellent mathematical and analytical skills Knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) Understanding of local tax laws and regulations Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills
