Job description
Develop and execute sales strategies to increase room bookings, banquet revenue, destination weddings, MICE, and leisure business. Identify and secure new business opportunities across corporate, travel trade, luxury leisure, and group segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, wedding planners, and event agencies.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and revenue targets while maintaining profitability. Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance and achieve business objectives. Conduct client meetings, presentations, sales calls, and represent the resort at trade fairs and industry events. Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, reservations, and operations teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Negotiate high-value contracts and manage key client accounts and VIP relationships. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify growth opportunities. Prepare sales forecasts, revenue reports, performance analyses, and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
8–10 years of sales experience in 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or premium hospitality brands. Proven expertise in corporate sales, destination weddings, MICE, leisure travel, and luxury hospitality sales. Strong knowledge of hotel revenue management, market segmentation, and luxury guest expectations. Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to build strategic partnerships and achieve ambitious revenue targets. Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA in Sales, Marketing, or Hospitality Management is preferred.
