Job description
Ziegler CAT has an opening for a Service Support Specialist (1) to provide leadership and support for the field service team. They organize, schedule, coordinate, purchase, communicate, and lead the efforts of others. This position's main function is to provide timely, cost effective management of multiple projects to meet customer expectations.
Responsibilities
Creates quotes for both internal & external customers for repairs related to power generation equipment and related electrical systems and industrial equipment Enter parts, labor, miscellaneous items needed on quotes Coordinates procedures and documentation with contractors, engineers, customers, owners, utility company, sales staff and service technicians and provide status updates throughout the projects Coordinates field service projects, requiring the management of outside resources to bring projects in on time and within the budget constraints on the project.
Adheres to and helps enforce safety policies both on-and off-site. Occasionally assist with meeting with customers, contractors, engineers, owners, and Ziegler staff to discuss project requirements and logistics where site visits are required. Responds promptly to phone calls or email requests Works in a cooperative manner with team and leadership Qualifications: High School degree required; 2-year technical college degree preferred Experience with diesel and gas powered engines required Electrical and mechanical aptitude including ATS, Switchgear, engine control required Project Management experience preferred Excellent communication skills Experience in Microsoft Office Suites Personal Attributes: Customer Focus, Attention to Detail, Leadership Orientation, Conflict Management, Sociability Travel: Up to 10% travel Minimum Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, using hands, talking, hearing This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; it is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.

The pay range for this position is $71,400.
00 to $89,250.00 Starting wage is dependent on skills, experience, education and location.
Pay range
may vary by 10% depending upon the applicant’s location.
