Summary of Responsibilities: The Human Resource Assistant is responsible to be knowledgeable of all the HR policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities
Manage all human resource matters for assigned departments. Conduct employee orientation and onboarding sessions. Maintains and distributes employee information, including policies, procedures and HR communications. Prepare and distribute employee evaluation & performance report upon completion of probationary periods.
Maintaining personnel files for assigned departments Prepare Ads for job vacancies. Compile job applications packages and interview documentation. Process vacation grant, job letter, Social Security and insurance claims Prepare final benefits for separation benefits. Prepare monthly reports. Prepare minutes of meetings assigned by the Manager.
Manage and maintain staff records in BambooHR. Coordinate internal HR events, including staff meetings, training sessions (internal and external), workshops, wellness activities, and corporate events. Provide diversified clerical and administrative support to the Office of the Director of Human Manager. Assist with timely revision of job descriptions.
Assist in the drafting of HR Policies. Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time of a related nature. Job Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum Associate degree in human resource management, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a related field of study. 3-5 years' professional experience within the HR field is required.
Working knowledge of HRIS (Human Resource Information System) would be an asset. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Administration: Assist with administrative purchasing including uniforms for department. Assist with coordination and arrangement for school visit. Assist with the monitoring of bond systems.
Assist with all human resource matters for Stevedores.
