A reputed Hospital and Medical College in Bachupally, Hyderabad is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to support the pharmacy department by ensuring the safe dispensing of medications, maintaining inventory, and providing accurate pharmaceutical services. The ideal candidate will work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to promote safe and effective medication use.
Qualifications
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) Valid Pharmacy Council Registration Experience in a hospital or institutional pharmacy is preferred Freshers with the required qualification and registration may also apply Responsibilities Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Review prescriptions for completeness and clarify medication-related queries with prescribing physicians when necessary. Maintain proper inventory of medicines, monitor stock levels, and ensure timely replenishment. Store and handle medications in accordance with recommended safety and storage guidelines. Maintain accurate dispensing records and pharmacy documentation.
Assist in medication reconciliation and support safe medication practices. Provide patients with clear instructions on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects. Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council regulations, hospital policies, and statutory requirements. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted pharmaceutical services.
