Business Function: DBS Group Research under the Group Financial Markets (origination, sales and trading), comprises of the Economics/Strategy, Equity and Credit research teams. Credit research coverage is focused in Asia Pacific. Our unrivalled access to a broad range of companies around the region, stems from over 60 analysts covering more than 600 securities.

Responsibilities

Provide credit research coverage on Asian USD/SGD Issuers (may include other currencies) Experience in China, Hong Kong, Japan and Korean names, or property / tech sectors will be advantageous Build and maintain financial models (company, industry, macro, bond universe) Publish timely and insightful research initiations and results/event updates Ideate, lead and publish Thematic Research pieces (Sectoral / Credit Rating / Structural) Market research insights to DBS clients, including High Net Worth and Institutional Investors and internal stakeholders Collaborate and support team with cross market/ capital structure (equities/credit/macro) research pieces Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline Experience: 2-5 years of Fixed Income, or Equities Research experience within Asset Management/ Funds, Wealth Management, or Rating Agencies Candidates with less experience will be considered for an Analyst role; exceptional fresh graduates are welcome to apply Market Knowledge: Understanding of macroeconomics and the Asian USD/SGD bond markets Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Bloomberg (ideally data tools like BQuant, BQL) Bonus Competencies: Coding/VBA, Credit Ratings, High Yield/Distressed Debt, or Equities analysis Soft Skills: A self-motivated team player with intellectual humility, strong analytical curiosity and communication skills Motivated to explore AI for credit research Global Perspective: Strong cross-cultural adaptability and open-mindedness; to understand diverse regional cultures/ markets Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
