Art Studio Monitor
- FWS Division: CAS Department: Art Experience: Entry-level Job Code: FWSARTSTUDIOMON Supervisor/Reports To: Petra Carroll Start Date: 8/24/2026 Assist with the operation and supervision of art studio spaces, ensuring safety, accessibility, and upkeep. Ideal for responsible students interested in studio art environments and event support.
Responsibilities
Work pre-determined shifts and maintain attendance and punctuality – P, C, T, TW Coordinate with class and work-study schedules to cover studio hours – P, TW Ensure studio accessibility and set example for safe and respectful studio use – C, P, CT, L Work independently or in teams to fulfill assigned duties – C, TW, P, CT Maintain and organize studio spaces, closets, and materials – C, TW, CT, L Assist with gallery events and artist receptions as available – C, TW, P, CT, L Competencies/Skills: Communication (C), Teamwork (TW), Professionalism (P), Career & Self Development (CSD), Critical Thinking (CT), Community Transformation (CTR), Leadership (L), Technology (T) Preferred Skills: Attention to detail, strong active listening abilities, strong written & verbal communication, customer-focused, willingness to learn new things, reliable and responsible.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday: Varies depending on workload. Saturday & Sunday: Closed. Work Conditions: Normal office environment. Physical Demands: Reaching/handling, pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs.
