As part of its continuous development, the JOST Group is looking for a Financial Controller for immediate employment at its headquarters in Weiswampach (LU). Key figures: 3,000 employees across 10 countries in Europe and Tunisia 1,700 trucks and 4,000 trailers 710,000 m² of warehouse space across Europe Scope of consolidation: turnover of €441 million across 54 companies (5 currencies) Role As part of a four-person team, your main responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting & Closing Oversee monthly and annual statutory closings in collaboration with the accounting team while ensuring data reliability (accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company’s financial information).
Ensure consistency between accounting records and financial reporting and contributing to the harmonization of accounting and financial procedures across the group Prepare reliable reports for Financial Management and shareholders (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, annual). Monitor income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow performance.
Financial Analysis & Performance Monitoring Analyze year-over-year variances and recommend corrective actions. Monitor key financial KPIs (EBITDA, ROE, liquidity ratios, leverage, DSO, DPO, solvency, financial risk control). Perform cost and margin analysis (entity-level and consolidated). Provide profitability analysis by company/entity.
Participating in the improvement of management tools and in the digital transformation of the finance function Identifying optimization opportunities of overall financial performance and formulating concrete recommendations Internal Control & Compliance Implement and enhance internal control processes. Secure financial flows (e.
g., purchasing process implementation). Review intercompany transactions (contracts, service validation, invoicing). Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations (VAT, corporate income tax, statutory filings). Verify consistency in asset and liability valuations. Complying with and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and procedures Treasury & Cash Flow Management Monitor cash flow forecasts and actuals.
Analyze working capital requirements. Support financing optimization initiatives.
