Please provide the following documents: Cover Letter Resume/CV Student Worker Position Description Position Summary: The Student Worker provides general administrative and operational support to the department while assisting with communication and social media activities. This position offers students the opportunity to develop professional, organizational, and digital marketing skills in a collaborative work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Support Assist with filing, data entry, and maintaining records. Answer phones and direct inquiries as needed. Help prepare documents, reports, and presentations. Organize materials and maintain office supplies. Assist staff with special projects and departmental events. Perform general office and clerical tasks.

Social Media Support Create and schedule social media content for departmental accounts. Assist with taking photos and videos for events and activities. Draft captions and promotional posts aligned with department goals. Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and engagement. Help maintain a consistent online presence and brand image.

Track basic social media metrics and provide updates to supervisors. Additional Responsibilities Maintain confidentiality of department information. Follow university policies and procedures. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Current enrolled student in good standing. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Familiarity with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X, & LinkedIn. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience creating social media content. Basic photography, videography, or graphic design skills. Experience using tools such as Canva or similar design software. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work Schedule Flexible between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday

  • Friday based on class schedule. Applicants should be available to work consistent 3–4 hour shifts each day. Typically 19 hours per week. All positions are security-sensitive.
