Paralegal Assistant

Job Summary

We are looking for a Paralegal Assistant to support the Legal team, with primary focus on corporate secretarial and compliance work. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably from the infrastructure industry and/or large law firms or corporations. This role will assist in ensuring regulatory compliance, proper corporate governance, and timely completion of statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in corporate secretarial functions including preparation, filing, and maintenance of corporate records, board resolutions, and minutes of meetings Support in SEC, LGU, and other regulatory filings and compliance requirements Coordinate with external counsel, government agencies, and internal stakeholders on corporate matters Maintain and update corporate books, records, and legal databases Assist in the preparation and organization of documents for board meetings, shareholders’ meetings, and other corporate actions Monitor deadlines for permits, licenses, and statutory filings to ensure timely compliance Provide general legal and administrative support to the Legal team as needed Requirements Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Paralegal Studies, or related field At least 2–4 years of experience in corporate secretarial work or legal support Experience in the infrastructure, construction, energy, or related industries is highly preferred Background working with large law firms or big corporations is a strong advantage Knowledge of Philippine corporate laws, SEC regulations, and compliance requirements Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with various stakeholders Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
