Description Job Overview: The Installation Technician will travel nationwide with the Installation Manager to assist with equipment installations, system upgrades, and quality control inspections. This hands-on position supports the installation team by preparing materials, assembling equipment, troubleshooting issues, documenting completed work, and ensuring every installation meets company and safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities: Travel nationwide to support equipment installations and quality control inspections. Assist with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment assembly tasks. Prepare tools, equipment, materials, and job sites for installation. Work with the Installation Manager and local technicians to complete projects.
Assist with inspecting existing and newly installed systems for quality and compliance. Take photos and maintain accurate installation and QC documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and customer site requirements. Communicate project progress and field concerns to Installation Manager. Support system testing, startup, troubleshooting, and follow-up service.
Additional tasks and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong technical troubleshooting skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Self-motivated and proactive Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical activities such as sitting, standing, kneeling, and walking for extended periods.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license and adhere to age requirements (at least 21 years of age).
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
