Responsibilities

50%

• Design, perform and analyze experiments to study the structure/function relationships of assigned proteins. 25%
• Cloning and expression of proteins of interest. Purification of proteins in sufficient quantity to obtain crystals. Crystallization of proteins. Data collection and analysis. 10%
• Preparation of data presentations and publications. Assist principal investigator with preparation of manuscripts. 5%
• Assist principal investigator with preparation of grant proposals. 5%
• Assist with laboratory management of stocks, supplies, and equipment. 5%
• Other duties as necessary. Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biochemistry or related field.
