FTE: 100% WORK SHIFT Days PAY RANGE: $112,777.60 - $184,017.60 UNION: SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS/PREMIUMS: JOB DESCRIPTION: Olympic Medical Physicians’ Primary Care clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington State’s beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team.
Highlights of the practice include: -- Lifestyle-balancing 4-day work week with rotating telephone-only call --Industry-leading support staff ratios, including robust RN support, Care Navigators and integrated Behavioral Health --Ready access to local consultants as part of a large multispecialty group --Integrated electronical healthcare record system (EPIC) with local and regional hospital systems This Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is exclusively outpatient with minimal call.
In collaboration with our family medicine physicians, the successful Family Medicine Physician at OMP Primary Care is focused on providing excellent person-centered care to rural patients as part of a multi-disciplinary team. This position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, pending individual eligibility requirements.
EDUCATION
Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State OR Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements. EXPERIENCE 2 years prior primary care experience preferred, but not required.
LICENSURE/CREDENTIALS Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State OR Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority Maintains current DEA registration. Buprenorphine waiver preferred, but not required. Maintains current [BLS or ACLS] certification.
Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
