Surgical Technologist (Main OR) Part-time

Performs the function of a surgical technologist assisting the surgeon, assessing needs as they arise and anticipating needs through knowledge and experience. Works under the supervision of the RN circulating nurse. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in the operating room over the life span.

Must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s status and interpret the information needed to identify each patient’s requirements relative to his/her age specific needs as it relates to the surgical technologist role. Must be able to provide the care needed as described in the department’s policies and procedures.
