Job description
The Senior Labor & Employee Relations Partner is part of the China Labor & Employee Relations Center of Excellence (LER COE) and is responsible for providing expert labor and employee relations consultation and case management support across Danaher operating companies in Mainland China. Operating within a process-oriented LER COE model, the Senior LER Partner delivers consistent, compliant, and high-quality solutions through governance, standard work, risk management, and data-driven decision making.
The role is expected not only to resolve employee relations matters, but also to identify organizational risk patterns, strengthen management capability, and help prevent future disputes through proactive consultation and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR partners on complex employee relations matters across China
- Independently manage employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, individual separations, employee medical issues, workplace complaints, and other employment-related concerns.
- Support organizational change initiatives, including restructurings, workforce reductions, consultation processes, and other workforce transformation activities, ensuring legally compliant and business-aligned outcomes. Confidential

- Conduct and manage workplace investigations, identify root causes, assess risks, recommend corrective measures, and maintain appropriate documentation and evidence records.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve LER standard work, toolkits, templates, governance processes, training materials, and best practices to drive consistency and operational excellence across operating companies.
- Analyze employee relations trends, escalation patterns, litigation risks, and case data to identify emerging risks, provide actionable insights, and support proactive risk mitigation strategies.
