Special Education Vocational Facilitator

Special Education Vocational Facilitator Job Type: Full-Time | 12-Month Location: Wake County Pay: $19.00/hour Make a Difference Beyond the Classroom Help high school students build the skills and confidence they need for what comes next. Community Workforce Solutions is seeking a Special Education Vocational Facilitator to support students with disabilities throughout Wake County.

As part of our Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) program, you'll work with students ages 14-22 as they develop workplace readiness and practical life skills while preparing for greater independence after high school.

What You'll Do

Support classroom instruction and student activities Work with students individually and in small groups Prepare lesson materials and hands-on activities Encourage participation and skill development Maintain program documentation and assist with billing Collaborate with instructors and school staff Travel between assigned high schools throughout Wake County What You'll Bring Associate's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Experience working with students or individuals with disabilities Strong communication and organizational skills Valid North Carolina driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to travel between Wake County school sites Ability to complete a background check and drug screening Physical Requirements Ability to lift 10-25 pounds Ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the day Benefits Paid holidays and paid time off Health, dental, and vision insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Life insurance 403(b) retirement plan About Community Workforce Solutions For over 60 years, Community Workforce Solutions has helped individuals with disabilities achieve greater independence through employment, education, and community inclusion.
