Secure Detention Counselor - PT

The part-time Secure Detention Counselor I works with alleged delinquent youths between the ages of 10-18 being served in the Secure Detention Division.  The part time (SDC I) maintains the same job duties and responsibilities as the full time Secure Detention Counselors. This position is responsible for the direct daily care and supervision of youth.

The part-time SDC I must adhere to the Child Protective Services Law, the Juvenile Act and the Department of Human Services state regulations.  All work is performed under supervision.  The SDC I part-time position is supervised by the Detention Supervisors.
